Lowe's loses appeal over Miami store

Lowe's Companies lost another appeal this week in its years-long battle to gain approval for building a store in the western edge of the Miami urban area.

The project required approval to move the county’s urban development boundary, which limits intensive development between the urban area and the undeveloped areas surrounding Everglades National Park. A ruling by the state's 1st District Court of Appeal upheld a previous state administrative ruling that had rejected the Miami-Dade County Commission’s approval of Lowe’s request"

I knew the courts were thankfully involved because many of Miami-dade commissioners are up for sale to the highest bidder .

If up to these commissioners the EverGlades would be a huge parking lot.
They have never given a damn about nature nor Florida for that matter only money.

"The groups said each new development outside the UDB adds to demands for drainage, water use, roads and supporting development, which increases demands on taxpayers."

The people here actually think these commissioners are looking after them lol.
