Maybe Superintendent John Benjamin can "" suck up to a rich Asian sugar daddy "", and get those elevators fixed, and underground restroom facilities fixed as well.

Don't let em eat at the "Asian" restaurants around here unless you want them to get suck and die

Rangers tell me John Benjamin doesn't know what goes on at the park, he pops in once a month at the Visitor Center and bugs out. Nice that our Superintendent is getting some $140,000 a year to do a half a$$ job.
No elevators yet, when is this going to be fixed JB?
The super that is going to be known who crashed the elevators. No bragging rights to other super's at other parks.

Has anyone seen the new visitor center? It is a disgrace, I went there the other day saw all the pictures pulled off the wall and the 3d system of Lech is hardly working. No exhibits like the Living Desert at the hill. The Living Desert out shines the Caverns and it's State Funded. The park needs to get rid of Marie in Interpert and get someone who can get someone who can get nice exhibits there. But, I guess everyones tax dollars are going to waste.

It's not as if one staff member can write out a purchase order and create a new set of exhibits. For that matter, no one person can dictate what exhibits get presented or not. Everything is done by committee, by both Cavern staff and regional staff. Since the Caverns is a National Park they are chained to the slow paper process of the federal government and their funding process. And when there's no money, there's no change.
As for Living Desert, they've only had one Visitor Center update in their 40+ year history. They had to wait over 25 years hoping and wishing their many pleas and requests to modernize their exhibits would come true. I suppose 25 years from now someone will complain about Living Desert looking shabby and thinking some Interp ranger is to blame! What a crock!

If you have a two-faced loser Superintendent that no one likes and a clueless loser Chief of Interpretation you have a looser Park with no employee morale.
Even the long time and experienced brown noses got the hell out of there no morale.
Solution to the problem, get a new Superintendent get a new Chief of Interpretation who knows what the hell they are doing and know how to maintain Good employee morale.
Convince the Park Service to bring back some of the old Park Rangers, that know what to do their, some still live in Carlsbad.

The living Desert State Park has a loyal support base and a lot of volunteers because they know how to treat people with respect , can the Caverns say the same thing, I say NO.
There were a lot of key Rangers unjustly forced to leave By the superintendent and chief of interpretation.
Ranger Doug Ballue treated his volunteers with respect and showed his appreciation, and Ranger Ron Krbo treated his cave restoration people with respect.
When these two Rangers transferred from the Caverns you are nothing but a slave.

I hear from the Rangers there that they are not happy with the up coming busy season this spring with the small eleveators being used and the large elevators being shut down for years. Why is John Benjamine still there???
And no exibits in the Visitor Center?
I guess this all is rocket science and it takes years to get something done at the park? It has taken 5 years so far for Passive Marie to get it done.
Or is it the defunctionl hiring system in the Park Service that lets these fools get hired?
One good exemple I was told was a Ruben guy.
I care about these caves and want them protected.
It's all a big Joke at the Park I hear.

Sounds like there is only one way to fix this: Hot young chicks in the nude!!!!!!!!!!

""It has taken 5 years so far for "Passive Marie" to get it done"".
She is a Park service trouble employee, she been in BIG trouble in the past, she has to be real careful in what she does, this what the Park service will do they send trouble employees there, and try to forget about them.
The same goes for the superintendent the Park service is hoping they will just go away.
