"the change was made because of an increase in motor, bicycle and pedestrian traffic."

Uh-huh. More like an increase in wallet padding and ticketing revenue.

Yep, in today's economic turmoil, wallet padding comes to mind!

I'm personally glad you grimy motorists in trucks and cars speeding and throwing out fast food wrappers and beer cans got the kibosh put on your abuse of the Parkway. How do those speeding tickets and open container tickets and littering tickets sting yer sorry arses in the federal courthouse? Hahahahahaha!

First there was the Southern Blockade where we would force yankee speeders to do the limit by driving the speed limit in both lanes. Now the Parkway has joined us in slowing down these always-in-a-hurry yankees! Yee Haw! Yankees who have transplanted, slow down and relax. Your in Southern Heaven now with beautiful scenery. No need to speed like up north.

I don't need your permission to do 100. In that straight before you get to the Biltmore Forrest Innersection I do it all the time. If I don't run the bicyclers off into the ditch I at least flip them the bird.

More like locals driving like maniacs as they use the Parkway as a shortcut. There aren't enough law enforcement rangers to stop anyone!!!!!

I wonder how "immediately" we will see new speed limit signs, or "oops" we forgot to change that one sign out there...
