I certainly wouldn't select one nation or government as the source of all evil, but the U.S. has been their Great Satan and Eisenhower is ONE of those responsible for that.
If anything, the goof in Iran was MUCH worse and still haunts us today.
We have agree on a lot of things in the past but here we have encountered some cognitive dissonance.

We have had founding fathers who had endorsed slavery.
The next generation of leaders slaughtered Native American
The third generation of leaders built an empire, of which Guatemala was a minor piece.
The next generation of leaders took their task to maintain empires.

Thus there has never been an American President that you could plausibly consider worthy. When taking that in, you would disqualify anyone as worthy because every walking breathing man has made mistakes.
Putting the USA or yourself in the pillory, without a change of heart and mind does no one any lasting good.
With the change of Heart the pillory becomes unnecessary.

General Eisenhower didn't defeat the Germans either. He was military leader of 1\2 of the war effort.
By any measurement The Soviet Union did most of the heavy lifting. The Reds lost more men, 6-7 million military and at least 10 million civilian. The US, British and French lost about 1.4 million combined.
They killed more Germans and captured Berlin.
Maybe we should have to erect a small statue of Marshall Zhukov at the Ike memorail

The usual brilliant "I KNOW you are but what am I??" rebuttal from au Spambot, the utter and complete Topix failure. Especially funny since it's the THIRD POST IN A ROW YOU POSTED TO ME.
