It's about time I've called several times for the same people setting off every kind of fireworks you can imagine. Last friday the display started at 9pm and I called the police department at 11:15pm, and was informed they had several complaints and a unit was on the way out there. I'm sorry but this is the standard answer whenever I've called about the same group of inconsiderate people. I will continue calling every time I hear the first bottle rocket go off. All residents of EPA need to be concern since fireworks are a fire hazard. I know I can't afford to have my family displaced by a fire or anything else. Don't think these people have enough money to help you rebuild. Also our police department needs to make them clean up the debris in the streets from the fireworks. Pulgas AV was littered so bad on Sunday morning in front of 2150 Pulgas you had to drive around the trash left in the streets. I personally want a litter free clean city to live in.

It's unfortunate that we can no longer have fireworks. I remember growing up and eagerly anticipating fourth of july so I could play with my sparklers, worms and watch my dad light the fireworks displays. Now a days those things are a part of a past that my children will never be able to be a part of all because of people that do not know how to be responsible.

I've had similar problems in my neighborhood. I don't so much mind fireworks on the Forth of July, but they seem to last until Labor day. They police told me it is difficult to do anything about since they have to catch the person in the act. I guess if you see the person setting them off you can give the police that location.
