Cheney holds talks in Italy on Georgia crisis

Vice President Dick Cheney renewed his call for cooperation between Europe and Washington over the Georgia crisis, Italy's foreign minister said Sunday.

Franco Frattini said that during talks he and Cheney expressed their 'shared wish for intense collaboration between Europe and the United States.'

'This Caucasus crisis cannot be solved unless there is intense collaboration ... which we will have,' Frattini said after the 40-minute meeting on the sidelines of a conference on Lake Como.

Who let Cheney out of his room, this guy is adamant on starting a war with some one, anyone. Russia attacked Georgia because Georgia was attacking Ossetia and the Russians went to help Ossetia, by us letting Georgia attack Ossetia we opened the door for Russia to enter and we could do nothing about it. I heard that the President can take over power of the government is a time of crises and it sure looks as though they are working a starting a crises. As the war in Iraq winds down and China was able to get the oil they needed from Iraq at our expense, the military industrial complex needs a new target, which of course will help our economy. Sounds far fetched? Italy is the main country he goes to for help, oh my lord, we know the last great leader Italy followed.
