Many elected bodies have the ability to sanction elected officials - congress for one -- ethics violations are common...; impeachment, another.

Haven't I heard, "Impeach Bush" or was that Bill "Halarty" Clinton?

Oh, don't forget those Board of Supervisors or City Council proclamations in SF or Berserkeley calling for impeachment and besides, Redwood City, SF and Oakland are Sanctuary Cities and don't enforce immigration laws.

This sanction is just posturing to get Jerry Hill elected under the guise of rhetoric when the Board should have raised hell on Sheriff Munks and Undersheriff Bolanos. Munks also lied about using pubic money on the Baker to Vegas Relay requiring the Board to improve their oversight. It is the lie along that should have sunk the sheriff, but law enforcement can lie during their interrogation of suspects.

It would be much easier to pass a Charter Amendment stating that law enforcement officials, by their very nature, cannot be trusted.

They are trained to bluff people and especially suspects and they often cross the line; hence so many investigative and prosecutorial misconduct and hiding exculpatory evidence!

Over a billion dollars have been paid out in misconduct by police in civil lawsuits, falsified evidence included planted evidence.

There is that blue code of silence that we all pay for and Munks played that card in Vegas!

Most law enfocement don't have to play every hand to bluff, it is situational and most police have played a shady hand to see what pops up and sometimes it is costly to the innocent! That may be you sometime so invoke your right to silence instead of taking with the police if you are guilty!

Criminals love to talk though - it is their ego and guilt that make them talk!

San Mateo County Counsel Michael Murphy is the top county attorney. he has taken over for Thomas Casey III.

It is Casey and now Murphy who have giving the Board of Supervisors this legal advice for so many years. The question now is did any of our Supervisors seek a second legal opinion. Did any of our Supervisors demand Sheriff Greg Munks resign as private citizens.
Did any of the go to the site at 3434 Eldon Street Las Vegas. To see for themselves the private residence.

Jerry Hill was in Las Vegas the weekend of April 21, 2007, Operation Dollhouse with the Sheriff and 54 San Mateo County Employees and 11 vehicles.

Just because someone says something is true doesn't mean that it is. Including Attorneys.

Jerry Hill has known about this for years, later Sarah Navratil spoke to the Board of Supervisors when Mike Nevin was a member. She begged for their help.
