Eich can make an equal or greater donation to the Human Rights Commission and marry a man
.
Then we'll forgive him completely

Sorry, I'm not sure what the doubt is. He's against same-sex marriage. You may give him a pass on that given other factors. Many of us gave candidate Obama a pass on the same-sex marriage issue--partly because there were no candidates presenting an alternative. There was room for doubt about the sincerity of Obama's support for civil whatchamacallits over marriage. At least Obama never gave money to NOM. So you can't give Eich benefit of doubt.

As long as his position is personal and not corporate, I think he is entitled to it without any boycott of the organization.

What would be better for the gay employees of that organization is not to resign, but to try to convince him otherwise.

As a PS, remember that corporations are not like the Catholic Church. The difference is that they can and do evolve and change to meet the market place.

I think your second sentence should stop after the word "think". I, and millions of others use Firefox as well as other browsers. And I won't quit using Firefox because of the controversy, because him giving of his own money, rather than corporate money, makes no difference to me.

That company would not dare hire an executive who (openly) gave money to bar inter racial marriage.

So we have not quite arrived as a society on this issue yet.
