Arab village's fence war wins some Israeli hearts

“If I will not be here, then I will be part of this injustice”

I love Israel and Israelis. I believe they live in constant turmoil because of terrorist attacks, missiles and suicide bombers. I wish that the people Billin and other West Bank and Gaza towns, would protest to Hamas and Islamic Jihad as strongly as they protest to Israel. If the terrible attacks would stop, Israel would not need such security walls. Shooting stones at Israeli soldiers is counter productive. If the protest were loud, but peaceful and non-violent, they would have a different effect. BUT, having said all that, I believe it is wrong that the fence has not been moved. I believe it is right for the protests to take place and I think it's time Israel got tough with the settlers. They have caused much of the trouble in this conflict and most Israelis are opposed to their land grabs. There must be a Palestinian State, side by side with Israel!

If there were no attacks by Hammas there would be no need for a security fence?

If there was no security fence, there would be no need for Hammas attacks.

As per the news article, the Israeli courts have said the fences are more to do with land grabs than for security.

Why shouldn’t the Palestinians defend their own land?
