McDonald's began offering free food to placate the Chinese (commies).

Very costly. Apple had to issue an apology in Chinese (commies) to placate the locals.

KFC also had to issue an apology. Doing business in China (commies) is risky at best.

They want our goods but feel slighted if they can't have it their way.

Stop doing business in China (commies) and do business in countries that welcome us.

Let the fools deal with there Commies buddies in North Korea.

We need to vote YES on Prop.23 as we will lose up to one milion jobs in the near future and energy prices (gasoline, electricity, natural gas etc.) will skyrocket. Massive State regulations will kill many industies in our State. 35 years ago we had "Global Cooling" and that was an obvious hoax; "Global Warming" advocates are using the same scare tactics that were used by the "Global Cooling" kooks. We don't need any more governmnet intrusion into our lives than we hae already.
Renewable energy jobs are the only good future for energy. The demand for solar jobs is already increasing and the need for renewable energy is necessary for there to be a future of energy anything. If you don't take it seriously that we live on a planet that is sensitive to our manipulations then maybe you should try living on Jupiter. The same people could in theory work the same energy positions they have as they did in any other polluting industry e.g. fossil fuels. It's chemistry that makes it pollute and if you don't accept that over 95% of the scientific community agrees that global human-induced climate change is occurring then why bother seeing a doctor, right? What should it matter that his medical experience based on empirical knowledge our species has accrued can help you at all. It's about certainty in science and the scientists are pretty certain. Check out http://app1.kuhf.org/articles/npr1366189292-I... which will tell you how coral reefs will be inadvertently affected by rising temperatures of the oceans, which is caused by global warming. And if that doesn't seem like an issue to you, then you're perfect for testing the new conditions our species will need to face as we rapidly change the global temperatures of our planet. You could be renewable and green and use free energy but you would rather pollute and ruin your only home.

What about jobs in the green market? Solar, tidal, geothermal, wind, etc.? There is plenty of demand there if you realized that it's not only a great transition but necessary if you want there to be any planet to live on.

*Man-caused Global Warming (AGW) has _no_ scientific peer reviewed validity. It is basically a fraud perpetrated by people and organizations with other agendas, like cripple the developed nations with inane regulations that will do _nothing_ to change the warming or cooling of the climate which is almost entirely solar driven.
*CO2 is _not_ a "pollutant"! It is a necessary component of life on earth. The percentage CO2 in the atmosphere has been much higher in the past and life went on just fine.
*CARB is an outfit out of control, IMHO, inventing new odious regulations for their own benefit with no concern for the cost/benefit aspect of their actions. They are basically trying to perpetuate their own existence long after the major improvements of smog levels in major metropolitan areas have been achieved.
I would suggest a YES vote on Prop 23.
If it has no scientific validity... why does wikipedia show over 90% of scientists AGREE that global climate change (as induced by our species) IS occurring? The fact is we have records that date back far enough that indicate that this is not the current time we would be experiencing a warming trend as we are. Aside from that, we have evidence that suggests (over 95% accuracy) that since the industrial revolution we have caused this to pattern to accelerate. It's easy to ignore what you never learn because you don't study science.

Glendora, California has or had a "Fresh & Easy chain is for sale" they were included in the get rich scheme it's city council and city manager cooked up.

Just about 1 in 5 Ponzi schemes this cities city manager and city council pan out, and when they do it's at a level than promised.

Most of the residents are us to city hall's follies and view them as examples of what NOT to DO, they serve as teaching aids to their children.

There is NO idiot control knob left in place to stop racist like Steve Herfert from blurting out comments like he did Feb. 05, 2013 during a West Covina, California city council meeting.

Oh that's right since Steve Herfert is a city council member (for 22 years) this allows him to make racists comments when ever he wants.

All that air blowing over from China messing up our reefs, are you man enough to take a trip there to protest their pollution? But your facts are up all your hot air.

Global warming data apparently cooked by U.S. government-funded body shows astounding temperature fraud with increases averaging 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

The tax-payer funded National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has become mired in fresh global warming data scandal involving numbers for the Great Lakes region that substantially ramp up averages.

A beleaguered federal agency appears to be implicated in the most blatant and extreme case of climate data fraud yet seen. Official records have been confirmed as evidence that a handful of temperature records for the Great Lakes region have been hiked up by literally hundreds of degrees to substantially inflate the average temperature range for the northeastern United States.

I tend to not believe the Government that much. I bet when they tell you to put poison in your body every year to prevent the flu even when there is no outbreak, you do it.

this story has been on http://www.iceagenow.com for a few days….

so many intelligent people believe the scam. no wonder they are called sheep……

Biumi is charged with felony aggravated assault on the customer.

Quick draw Biumi is in hiding after his arrest etc.

You basically offer no evidence or argument. Scientists around the world agree up to 98% that global warming is occurring and that global climate change is occurring as a result of human-induced affairs. And you just make yourself sound even further nonsensical by making the analogy that any tragedy e.g. the explosion is caused by global climate change. Where do you study? Where do you get your facts? Are you actually skeptical and educated or are you just going along with what you feel like is right? How do you verify what the regularities in nature are? If you are stupid enough to forfeit a wealth of evidence because of your conspiracies about the government having anything to do with it, then you might as well be going in the reverse of our evolution. What is the point of knowing anything? Just claim any answer is the right one because it's what you feel like. Loads of religious theists do it all the time, so there has to be a supreme being, right? How are you objective? Scientists place a CERTAINTY on knowing, that is why science is PROVISIONAL and why we can gather EVIDENCE and conduct EXPERIMENTS on this regular universe we live in. Don't try to act like you have an argument when you clearly have nothing at all worth saying. You do not understand what you are talking about.

1934 was the hottest year in the U.S., not globally. I suspect whatever other dates you could possibly be referring to are the same. Record high's in the 1920's? Right, in the U.S. maybe.

I feel bad that you have never heard of such fantastic technologies that offer FREE energy to our species. Maybe it's because our species is simply too stupid to realize that in just one hour the sun can deliver enough energy to power the entire U.S. for a year. Go study up on your renewables! Or don't you have internet access?

Some do, some don't. Those getting Government grants do, the others don't. Didn't you get the memo, they changed it to climate change because we still have cold and snowy winters, the Government sponsored scientists were wrong when they said America would no longer see snow. If man causes the warming, why so many record highs in the 1920's? How did you Alarmists even survive Y2K? Come out of your bunker, the Sun is good for you stay away from those tanning beds.

Here is how you should have wrote it: It is estimated that enough solar energy hits the earth in one single hour to power the entire globe for a full year. In other words, there is no shortage of solar energy striking the earth. We are only limited by our ability to capture that energy and convert it to usable electricity. I say go out and start driving a solar car...See ya! LOL....We all want clean air and using less oil, but we are not there yet, so keep riding your horse but please pick up it's Shit! Because some places during the Winter don't see too much Sun, and sometimes the wind stops or the windmill breaks. Battery cars cause more pollution making them. Like I said, go protest to those Chinese.

Why 34' so stinking hot? With all the CO2 the world leaked into the air during ww2, why didn't it warm? If you talk to the global warming crowd, carbon dioxide -- CO2 -- is the enemy of mankind. Any and all creation of CO2 is bad for the planet, we're told, and its production must be strictly limited in order to save the world.

But what if that wasn't true? What if CO2 were actually a planet-saving nutrient that could multiply food production rates and feed the world more nutritious, healthy plants?

CO2 is a vital nutrient for food crops
As it turns out, CO2 is desperately needed by food crops, and right now there is a severe shortage of CO2 on the planet compared to what would be optimum for plants. Greenhouse operators are actually buying carbon dioxide and injecting it into their greenhouses in order to maximize plant growth.
