It won't be as free or equal with only one party. Duh.
I agree, convince them to stop pointing the gun at their own head. If it is a one or two party system is totally up to them. The GOP must shed the Tea Party from their ranks and certainly lose their influence in primaries or they will self-destruct.

That isn’t in the hands of Democrats, it is entirely in the hands of the GOP

Hey, while you're here, look up your ass and see if you have a left CV joint for an '89 Accord.
And my I-pad. It's gotta be up in there, I saw Brucie pick it up. But hell if I'm going looking for it.

You have been laughed at from the first time you posted about memorials. The president does not have the power to shut them down, or re-open them, that is all 100% in the hands of congress who hold the purse strings.
It is funny that you don’t have the first clue how our government works, but it is not surprising to me, they don’t refer to them as Teatards for nothing.
The conspiracy theory websites you frequent don’t want you to understand how it works, and you of course have no desire to understand how it works. I am not your teacher, I do teach occasionally but only to people that actually want to learn.
That is not you
So, now that the congress has passed a spending bill and to re-open the government without thier list of threats, they will re-open.
They did manage to add a bunch of pork to the bill, that should be their motto, no bill, however critical, shall be untouched by pork..... there is always room for pork!
But your not upset, mind you.

YUK!YUK!YUK! Too funny! What a liar.

I think the GOP needs to become the tea party. Boy how you'd squeal then! You'd write 500 word essays on how you don't care.

I am not usually upset while laughing.

I did ask about someone who is obsessed about making others upset, turns out there is not a specific name for it, just garden variety sociopath, quite common.

Sorry you don’t get a more “special” title

I would lament the nation becoming a one party country like the USSR was. Other than that, I would be laughing at them so cleanly and completely destroying themselves.

We might have to come up with a new party… the American moderate party, I might even join that.

I have never used 500 words in any post, not sure one could unless all the words were "A"

It was silent for a while. I just knew it was doing the right thing and searching for that iPad.

You always claim you are "laughing", but somehow I don't believe you.
You have never displayed much of a sense of humor.

When you say laughing, you mean ridiculing.

I retired in 2006. Still giddy about it!

But you're a dope so you'll probably get depressed and go back to work. And you're half gay so you'd lose your social life from your job as towel boy in the mens showers.

The head of the National Park Service should step down over his handling of the government shutdown, House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa told POLITICO on Wednesday.

“Three strikes and you should be out,” Issa (R-Calif.) said after a five-hour hearing in which he and other Republicans lambasted park service Director Jonathan Jarvis for closing monuments on the National Mall, as well as the agency’s earlier handling of the sequester and its decision to let Occupy Wall Street protesters camp out on federal land.“He blew it on sequestration. He blew it on Occupy, and now he admits he doesn’t even think it was his responsibility to plan to mitigate [the shutdown’s harm].”

I was right, it was Obama, not Congress that closed the parks and memorials. In earlier testimony Wednesday, Jarvis told members of Issa’s panel and the House Natural Resources Committee that the White House didn’t dictate how the park service handled the closures, although he said he and Interior Secretary Sally Jewell had “presented” its shutdown plans to a White House official during a telephone

Obama was informed of the plans, the plans did not change, Obama was at fault, can't blame this on Bush.

The fact that you are unable to understand the terrorist government we have, and the true insanity of it, is unfortunate. But I will not shut up, and if more people like me had spoken out in Germany and the USSR, we might not have had the slaughter brought on humanity, by those who think like you.

Of course you don’t, as I told you, a garden variety sociopath would be someone that is as obsessed as you are if people are upset or not, and celebrating if they are upset.

I don’t know if therapy would help you, but it wouldn’t hurt

Oh I understand full well what kind of terrorist government we have, a minority in the house threatens to crash the economy, turn retirees out of their homes, start a global depression, ruin our currency by refusing to do their job if they don’t get their political whim.

The answer is proven, don’t negotiate with these terrorist while under threat. That works. every time so far.
