I work in Specialty Testing upstairs at the Hillview labs. We were told that the outreach lab business was sold to LabCorp. The papers were just recently signed. So the routine testing will be done by them.

Stanford routinely lays off employees who are hard working and have put in numerous amount of hours to save the university money. Such was the case of those who were willing to rescind their union membership in support of serving mankind. While physicians bring in both very high salary and bonuses, its unclear if the faculty cares much beyond their own pocketbook. Such again appears to be the case.

well, as i see the person who decided that stanford was going into patholgy business, should be have been fired by now....dumb move....Stanford is only good at making patients overstay for eroneous reasons, and over charge 10xtimes the regular price to be seen at a regular hospital....
Yup, stanford bailed out fast cause its sure enough that they cannot inflate prices for LABS...lol... |
