Just how in God's Name is working with allies overseas going to solve American's problematic invasion of illegal, criminal aliens? or the housing market? or the fraud and corruption running rampant in a government forced welfare system? or any other plaque the American people are facing today? I say "keep your **** at home and work on OUR problems FIRST, you idiot!!" And that doesn't just go for Obama---it goes for ALL of them who are supposed to be respresenting US, the PEOPLE---not themselves!! Arm yourselves, America, there's a revloution brewing ...... and it's about 20+ years overdue. Good point kitcat.

Obama sez:'People are concerned about gas prices and their mortgages. And wonder why I'm traipsing around the Middle East and Europe.'(paraphrased from the NY Times) So why does he spurn oil exploration? Why was he out of the country for the Senate mortgage vote? Why didn't he visit wounded troops? Why???? Because he is an ego tripping freak and a phony, who will bankrupt this country and still seek to fund backpacks for little Burundi boys from the bush.

Obama never said one word against our troops and if you were watching tv there were plenty of shots with him and the troops. Obama's speech, had you bothered to read or listen to it highlighted the need for an international effort to defeat terrorism. I suppose you wish for the American taxpayer to continue to pay for the majority of the war on terror. We already spend over ten times as much on our military as either Russia or China but you don't like Obama's main point in his Berlin speech which was to join together in the fight against terrorism. You criticise Germany yet they have become the world's most energy effecient country which is something we could learn from. Nothing will cripple the power of the terrorists like removing our dependency on oil. You state that Obama chose the location for his speech because it was one of Hitler's favorite locations to speak. All I can say to this is that you have no class nor have I read a lower and more base accusation than this particular drivel. I am ashamed that you are a fellow American. Clearly, no proud patriot American needs to go to Germany of France and talk about the mistakes of America after that the American soldiers were the one that save the world including France from the Germans during WWII. There is no reason to say that America made mistake in the Middle East when both Germany and France helped Saddam to get nukes that were found in Iraq. However, if you are left wing liberal Dem loser that lead the worst US Congress in US history under the rule of Pelosi and Reid, it is your duty… to besmirch the American people’s mistakes in the Middle East and promise corrections to the great Germans and the great French people…

Corporations have been regulated and taxed to death ... and then harrassed by the EPA and EEOC. Some OSHA rules are so convaluted they are impossible to comply with. But then the democrats and the media tell you it is the corporations fault they are leaving ... right? Just like they are demonizing "big oil" and their record profits ... but did you know Exxon paid a record $30 billion in federal income taxes in 2007? That is more than the bottom 50% of americans paid ... some 65,000,000 taxpayers. And that does not include the taxes they collect at the pump. What do you think will happen when the democrats go after even more of the "big oils" profits? Yep ... those nasty corporations will move out of the USA ... Exxon is already looking to divest its retail operations ... the part they can't move out of the USA.

We can't do it alone. You insult the lives of every soldier from all of the allied Countries when you sway we saved them. The truth is that we united agains a common enemy and prevailed by working together. The fact is that anyone with the least amount of historical reference understands that we all saved each other from the Nazi's. Huge mistakes were made in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Even Bush admits this to some degree. The only place in Obama's entire speech that mentions mistakes I will paste below. I urge you all to read a transcript of the speech before editorialising about it. "I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We've made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions. But I also know how much I love America. I know that for more than two centuries, we have strived -- at great cost and great sacrifice -- to form a more perfect union; to seek, with other nations, a more hopeful world. Our allegiance has never been to any particular tribe or kingdom -- indeed, every language is spoken in our country; every culture has left its imprint on ours; every point of view is expressed in our public squares. What has always united us -- what has always driven our people; what drew my father to America's shores -- is a set of ideals that speak to aspirations shared by all people: that we can live free from fear and free from want; that we can speak our minds and assemble with whomever we choose and worship as we please." Read the speech. Wiser words have not exited the lips of an American Politician for some time. The fact is that a large part of the speech was for a call to action against terrorism. But then you would have had to have read it to kow it.

Anyone who believes that diplomacy and working together with our friends, allies and enemies is not of the utmost importance is nuts. Absolutely nuts. Its elementary, my friend, and perhaps should have been elementary to the present "leaders" and from if McCain gets in (which he won't) let us hope he knows that elementary lesson better than his buddy Bush.

Get ready for the Big MAC attack, you aint seen nothing yet. Sweeping the nation my A**. The country needs an experienced candidate that can resolve issues between both parties, not a jr. senator with no experience, no backbone and no real issues or solutions of his own. Americans will address this before election day and the silent vote will win this election for McCain. Get used to it.

There is a huge difference between someone goading you and being goaded. The Republicans are hypocrites for goading him and then criticizing his trip. I think he would have made the trip anyways. He visited the region in 2006 visiting troops and talking to the powers that be. There was absolutely no basis to believe that anything this administration would do could improve the situation is Iraq. The difference was that the Administration finally realised its' own inadequacy and let the military do its' job. That is the reason General Patreus has been successful and I hope it continues. The fact is that this was unprecedented in the Bush Administration although welcome as far as I am concerned. I do understand given the track record how many logical people would consider it a minor miracle that the Administration could leave it alone and let it work. I still believe that Afghanistan is far more important a war to win than Iraq. The terrorists continue to point at the fact that we put Afghanistan on the back burner as evidence that we don't care about the victim's of 911 and are only after oil. The Taliban and Al Queda have not yet paid for their crimes and should have before we ever set foot in Iraq. Ask and Marine officer who is a command veteran in Iraq or Afghanistan about the situation. They are justifiably pushing for their main focus of operations to be in Afghanistan which is what Obama was pushing for. Honor first, Iraq second.

They are more beholden to Russian Natural gas. As the rest of the world defined new partnerships Bush insured that we were left out of them. No country can survive without alliances and we have been burning bridges for almost eight years.
