It would seem more appropriate to discuss this matter than Iran, eh Cordell?

The preserve should only be used by RESIDENTS. Work on the important things for Palo Alto...maintaining decent streets and tkae action on flood issues. Thanks

We just need to look at the Dish and understand what will be the state of our Foothill Park preserve in the years to come, if we were to open it up further...

Agree with Bill: let's focus on making the city better, safer, cleaner and fiscally stronger. There's so much to do on those fronts.

At first, I thought how presumptuous to restrict a chunk of nature that god gave all his creatures, to just their own residents.

Then I read how no one helped them pay for the park, and I actually don't disagree with the attitude, but still, it sets a poor example to folk about the premise of sharing.

Now if they tax Palo Alto business owners, whom some may not even live in Palo Alto, that didn't seem fair,(As the article addresses this issue to some degree), and then those taxes is off commerce of which I would dare suggest, is derived from non-Palo Altans.

So if I spend money in Palo Alot, though I don't live there, is this what they do with my money, funnel it into their own restrictive programs designed to keep me out?

Most interesting.. I hope they revisit this premise and allow everyone to be able to use that which god gave the world.
