To approach the Zipper is to fear it. It's a hulking mass of metal molded into a paper-clip-shaped conveyor belt.

The fair used to be fun, and affordable. Now it's a mass of poorly executed decisions, fireowrks that nearly burn down my house (yes I live right here), way too expensive and not nearly as nice as it used to be. I'm sure someone is profitting at the lose of the fair.

LOL so true...I avoid it when I can. My idea is to move the fair to San Martin. Plenty of room, livestock, and not too far to drive.

Good call and still in Santa Clara Co...More country folks live down there, too...It's a natural fit.
