Trotting into history

Bay Meadows Race Track has been on the brink of closure so many times in the past few years that rumors of its demise have become a sort of running joke in the horse racing community.

jack liebau should not be allowed to run another track, he just wants to break up the industry piecemeal for personal gain.

I will miss you Bay Meadows! I won't go over to GGF because I can't stand that place. That track has a strange set up and doesn't even have doors. It was so cold in that joint, I couldn't even feel my hands. And betting on TVG at home will never be the same as being at my beautiful Bay Meadows.Do we really need more condos and office buildings? I hope you get punished Bay Meadows Land Co. and you lose TONS of money on this ridiculous so called investment.

Just what the South bay needs more condos and office space.... This is so sad.. Please rethink this awful decision.

We need more pockets with money -- it is a good place to save it (banks are safer) instead of spending it at the track. Housing is universal and puts a lot of earned money on the tax rolls, spending in the nearby communities and is an investment in the long run unless you lie on your loan applications! It too, is a good place to take a siesta and you won't get cited!
