Feline shooting rattles cat owners

One Palo Alto company's adoptive house cat was shot over the weekend and another has been missing since mid-September, which has their owners wondering who is responsible.

I also had a cat shot when he was resting in a tree. The bullet was a 22 and my cat "Henry" was lucky as the bullet traveled up his leg rather than braking the bone. I know how scary it is when the shooter is unknow and it could happen again.

maybe the cats should be indoors where they belong

Yes. If cats were meant to be outside, they'd have been born with fur, claws, good night vision, etc.

People shooting their guns haphazardly, though, is apparantly ok with you?

Not to change the subject...but has anyone heard of any poisoning of pets from food tossed into back yards?
