I also had a cat shot when he was resting in a tree. The bullet was a 22 and my cat "Henry" was lucky as the bullet traveled up his leg rather than braking the bone. I know how scary it is when the shooter is unknow and it could happen again.

Yes. If cats were meant to be outside, they'd have been born with fur, claws, good night vision, etc.
