The reason we went to plastic bags in the first place was to save trees...no more paper bags...reusable bags...who is going to pay for this? These lame efforts have been a dismal failure all over the country, including San Francisco, and just cost the business more, and they pass along the cost increase to the consumer. Doesn't the city council have anything better to do??? Oh well...you TPAR's (typical Palo Alto resident) will get what you deserve I suppose, since you vote these lunatics in. Sigh...
