"skydiving seniors die when chutes tangle "
This is incorrect. How can they die from tangled chutes? They died when they hit the ground.

I once had another troop get tangled in my T-10 back in 66 at Campbell. His cute collapsed when he failed to slip away from my chute therefore was caught in a vacuum . He also failed to spread eagle therefore became entangled in my risers so we rode one cute down together.
As we passed the prior level of jumpers on the way down, I got tell ya that I was scared as hell. Well! we hit the ground real hard and as I laid there for the pain to come nothing came.
I guess the Adrenaline protected me. The other jumper also walked away without a scratch.
Those two jumpers lived life to the fullest. AIRBORNE ! RIP my Brothers

Skydiving was the second best high I ever experienced. The first does not have anything to do with drugs or alcohol. My point is these guys died doing something that is extremely exhilarating.
My condolence to their families.
