Emotional pain endures

American Jews need to take responsibility for their homelands' atrocities toward innocent children in Lebanon and Gaza. AIPAC, with their heavy handed thug tactics intimidating politicians to slaughter millions of youngsters in Iraq and Pakistan and perhaps soon in Iran needs to repent and change course or I'm afraid the few Jewish children killed in Granada Hills will be a grain of sand in a vast ocean in comparison to the many that will be murdered to avenge not only Israels' phosphorus bombing of civilians, murder of American servicemen on the USS Liberty, planting of bombs in the world trade center and building 7, theft of trillions by Zionists at Goldman Sachs, Tel Aviv being a world sex slave trafficking hub, etc. The nation of Israel is drowning in mafia corruption. The audacity to build a monument to honor antichrist in Jerusalem by Jacob Rothschild...the horrors are endless and yet it seems the yiddish controlled media only calls attention to a few Jewish casualties. Jews are hated the world over with reason. ..USA by association. Bible prophesy promises complete and utter destruction of the occult nation. Even the star of David is an occult symbol. Just as the leaders of America are evil and the masses of citizens decent, so to is the situation in Israel. The leadership of USA and Israel must be purged before a fuse to Armageddon is lit and vast suffering explodes across the globe.

As a native of Granada Hills I can say it was a very sad day and continues to be.Ten years later and people are still dealing with the horror of that day.I am happy to say we have moved out of the area thank God With the way people continue to act it is only a matter of time before the next "Hero" steps up to save the world.God help us all!!

Hmmm... Sounds like a typical Muslim extremist who I'd like to see sent back to wherever he she came from ASAP. You think MURDERING American Jewish kids is an understandable way for these murdering jerks to protest something that's happening in other countries?
And I suppose you just consider the non-Jewish casualties are just acceptable collateral damage.
I think ANY MUSLIMS that agree with you should be deported. It is never acceptable to kill Americans in this country, in response to things that happen in other countries. If you're a typical Muslim I can see why many people many Israilies would think the only good Muslim is s dead one. You certainly don't hesitate to murder them, even those among them who are too innocent to have an opinion.

"As Finkelstein and a friend got out of the car, they stumbled upon a gun club on a wilderness outing. Coming face to face with three men innocently carrying rifles, Finkelstein broke down in tears. The dread of hearing the crack of target practice forced them to leave. "
Oh, please. Why don't you attack us firearms owners a little more? You honestly think the Brady Bunch is going to help? No. And, if they weren't aware that 2nd amendment rights are very much alive & well in the USA(even in Kalifornia), then they need to get a major clue.
So these people think the right thing to do is to ban guns? Bullsh!+. What if this despot used a baseball bat to clobber all the victims? You gonna go ban baseball bats? I think not.
Typical knee-jerk reaction from bleeding-heart liberals whose intent is to legislate all of our rights out of existence. Maybe, if CA had a decent concealed weapons policy in effect instead of calling the police and having them show up in minutes when seconds really counted, this a$$h0le would not have gotten far and someone would have capped his sorry butt.
Funny thing, states that have concealed weapons permit holders just don't have issues like this. I see none of this in AZ where I own a HOME, not just a house.
Stand up for your rights, gun owners. The lib left is coming.

I have a cousin who crashed his motorcycle and was so shook up that later on he vomited when he saw his own bike and even today gets upset when he sees motorcycles even on tv.
Sould we ban Motorcycles too?

Your story on Monday 8/10 about the aftermath of the JCC shooting “EMOTIONAL PAIN ENDURES” is extremely misleading!!!!!!!!!! You depicted a boy (my son) who has been victimized and traumatized and who continues to suffer from enduring emotional pain. This can't be further from the truth!!! I am very happy to clarify that my son is a happy, normal 13 year old.
My heart goes out to the real victims from that day. The focus from that day which is overshadowed by the misleading title and sensationalized tag line should be on the good work that the Finkelstein, Stepakofff and Ileto families continue to do.
The resulting issues that they all so very bravely and gratefully continue to champion – reformed gun legislation and anti-hate campaigns are the real stories.

Thank you for speaking out.
I have one area of disagreement, I do not agree that new gun legislation would help, for two reasons.
First, as the news stories clearly illustrate, the vast majory of people who commit these horendous crimes aren't effected by existing laws and are extremely unlikely to be effected by new ones to any greater degree. I guess you have to examine each crime to see how true that is, and I know a lot about gun lawa and have examined most of the ones that make the news. Gun laws effect shooters a little like martial arts skills would effect pedifiles, they have almost no effect. Examine each crime, count the gun laws the shooter broke, and then ask youself why you believe he would not have been able to do the same thing if your had any new law you can imagine.
Second and equally important to me are the statistics that clearly show crime goes up not down as you disarm the public. That's not just true in other countries, it's also true here as has been evident every place where they have encourraged private citizens to carry conceiled guns,(with permits), and then seen violent crime rates go down in that area. It may not make sense, but if you look at the big picture and want violent crime to go down you really should consider less restrictive gun laws.
Perhaps it's because criminals are less likely to think they can get away with violent crimes when it's not so easy for them to assume that thier victum doesn't have a gun. You may not, but if they can't tell by looking at you, their forced to take a real ugly chance every time they commit a crime and that just discourages a lot of criminals much more than adding new and more restrictive gun laws does.
