I find it frightening that the liberals on the Supreme Court
came within one vote of eliminating one of our ten Bill of Rights
Thank the Conservatives for preserving our Constitution.
.
" , the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed "
.
Why do liberals have a hard time understanding this.
A no-brainer for the rest of us.

Do you think it was a legal gun owner who shot that child?
I wonder whether the attitude would be the same if the poor little girl
was killed in a car accident.

Would CPS be taking swipes at legal car owners?

"Probably some right wing car owner clinging to Fords and God. The Founding Fathers never meant us to drive cars - only the government should have cars"

Headline:.. "High Court upholds right to bear arms"

Well. Duhhhhh !!

It's called the second amendment
"the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"

The Supreme Court is supposed to uphold the Constitution, NOT overturn it by decree.

I can't believe that there are 4 justices stupid enough not to know their duty as justices

One vote! Now thats scarry. What the hell were the other four thinking?
They were thinking, in typical lefty fashion that presumes they are so much smarter than the rest of us, that people who already ignore laws againts murder and mayhem are somehow going to be deterred by a ban on guns.

They pay no attention to the notion of outlawing guns = only outlaws having guns. They pay no attention to the reality that the best the cops can do is show up after you or yours have been attacked. They assume all gun owners are borderline whack jobs intent on shooting up polite society.

That people in Washington, of all places, would lose the ability to protect themselves in their own homes is truly frightening.

Where do the five live who voted for this? It most be some tony neighborhood in Alexandria, because if they lived in southeast D.C, they would know better. People who support this so-called "right" are thoroughly divorced from the realities of city life.

If Sandra Day O' Connor were still on the bench this would not have happened. Oh well, one or two of the conservatives will probably croak on Obama's watch and we'll get some real thinkers back up there.

It is a right you freaking moron just like the other Amendments. How can anybody justify the 2nd being a collective issue yet uphold the others to the individual? You can't, period.

How nice that you apparently think "the realities of city life" entails not having the ability to defend yourself, but rather, to wait on the cops to come in after the fact. The law is meant to protect the folks who do the right thing from those who don't, not the other way around.

Next thing you know, they'll let women go topless.
Gotta love the Supreme Court.
