Condition report: Woman injured in paragliding accident, Boggabri

THE 20-year-old woman who suffered injuries after a paragliding accident on Valentine's Day has been left in a stable condition at Tamworth Base Hospital.- The Newcastle woman had suffered pelvic injuries after a heavy landing at about 3pm, 30km north west of Boggabri, and had to be flown by the region's Westpac Rescue Helicopter to the hospital.
The 20 year old girl is still at the hospital. She broke her back in two places, fracturing her L1 and L2 vertebrae. There is no threat to her spinal chord and she has feeling in all limbs. She is a very lucky girl.
