I don't have personal knowledge but that depends on if you define open carry as keeping it in the glove compartment or console of your vehicle. My understanding is that there is no legal protection for law abiding persons to carry openly. That state seems to class them along with proven violent predators and say not done. This may have changed lately to curtail predators "at will" hunting in that state but I don't know this.
