Its clear that Obama doesn't even know what a assault weapon is. When he called them AUTOMATIC.
It was funny when Romney called him on it and said automatic weapons are already illegal.

To be fair to Romney, a presidential debate is not the place for the president to sit down and have a two hour informational presentation on the nuances regarding the difference between Title I and Title II firearms, or the phony prohibitions that were the basis for the mastabatory Clinton Assault Weapon Ban.
