So this masqueraded guy kills a black bear for no reason other than sport.
I know I sound like some tree hugging asshole (well, the asshole part is hard to argue...), but honestly I'm not.
I think controlled hunts to maintain deer populations, et al, are fine; and venison stew and meatloaf are good eating. Rabbits, squirrels, birds.., no problemo!
I think though I'm a bit mortified that a bear has to die so a guy can prove his flint lock still works. Bear meat tastes like shit taking a shit, and the guy probably can't even afford the several thousand dollars to get the beast mounted.
Dumb, in my opinion.
Waste of a noble and beautiful animal...
