As a Butte County Search and Rescue member, I would like to share our teams condolences for the Paidl family and friends. It is always a very difficult situation when we get this type of call but we always work hard in the efforts to bring closure for the family. This is a difficult area with difficult conditions that can quickly become dangerous for searchers as well. We thank the family for their support and also thank Big Valley for their efforts in aiding the search.
