Campers Limited By High Waters
#1 Jun 12, 2008
I'll wager the attendance this 4th of July weekend at lakes will be dramatically down, but in no way related to the water levels. Just think how much fuel it will take to use your truck to haul a boat to the lake and then fill up your boat's fuel tank. Higher water levels don't really hinder people, paying an extra $100-$200 a weekend for nothing more than fuel alone will.
And this doesn't take into effect all the price increases on food and other little things people buy when they're out.
