Don't spend your time on these boards. Regardless of what happened, there are going to be hateful posts as well as nice posts. But it certainly isn't worth your time to have to filter through the crap to hear the nice things.

That poor little girl.
This is one of the saddest stories I've ever read.

May we ALL learn and hope to have the strength and courage the youngest had to seek help.

You're right. It's amazing what kids can do when they have to. I know some adults that would have just sat down and cried. We should all pray for this girl and her family.

Since I couldn't begin to name those who have expressed their sympathies and kind words for Andy, I would like to say Thank you. The community of Rapid City as well as many other communities in the state of South Dakota gives me more of an understanding of why Andy chose to make Rapid City his home. What wonderful, thoughtful people. To his coworkers I would like to say thank you for making the long trip to Nebraska. It meant so much to Andy's family. May God Bless all of you.

I agree. Please do not every say anything inappropriate when it comes to people who passed away. Do NOT judge. This is my family as well. Please keep rude/hurtful comments to yourself because you do not know the details. My prayers are with my cousin, Rachel and Isa...I love them both very much and I will miss Jeremy and Sierra deeply.

My condolences also to Andy and his family. He was a very good friend to Jeremy. I never knew him, but from what I have heard I know he is with the angels.

These threads always contain some stupid posts because people deal with this kind of tragedy in many different ways.

The best place for sympathy and condolances is the Obituary threads.

There are NO goofy posts out there.

This was such a sad event, RIP and we must be more careful on water.
