We just purchased our first vintage trailer, and am looking for places online to find info on fixing it up. It is in decent shape for its age...no leaks that we can find. It came with bill of sale only and I can't find the VIN number anywhere.(tho, the original manufacturers sticker is in kitchen cabinet, there is no info on this particular camper).

It's a day camper, looks like a fifth wheel in a way, but is a bumper pull.

Any help? If I cant find the right info on what came "stock" in this trailer, I may be going to sell it. I thought it would be easier to find the info on it.

If we sell it, we'll want at least $1500 for it.(we have that much in it)

Try checking for a "Terry" website or group..
Terry made a good product and was highly rated.

Thanx! I'll check again, but so far I can't find anything on this particular camper, I haven't seen even one this model/year.

I think I found the serial number, but still looking for info on what came stock.

I just got a 1960 15 1/2 terry. I got all the original dealer information with it. I think your VIN is on the tongue on the left side (looking dead on the front).
good luck finding information. this is the only one i've seen, but I, too, am new to the scene.

nice to here there is more than a couple of old terry,s left. i think the number you are refering to on the frame is in fact the frame number and not the serial number. do you still have all the decals and lettering on your trailer?, i sure would like to see photos of the lettering and stripes and naming decals....thanks kevin

lemme see if I can figure out how to post some photos. The vin # i referred to is under several coats of paint on mine; I just thought that was it. Wouldn't it be on your title?(no title? bummer). If I ever get any spare time, I can photograph (image) the brochure that has all the models and graphics for 1960 model year. They proly aren't that much different than yours. Mine has been repainted, but just the chevron stripes; the logo sticker on the front is still there, albeit mucho faded.

that would be great if you could send me the photos of the graphics, my trailer is a 1961 12 1/2 foot, mine too was repainted and the stripes removed, but i did find a copy of a sales flyer in black and white only showing the side and a bit of the front, with the terry logo
when standing looking at the front of the trailer is the a logo on the upper right side? i thoght i saw a photo once on line that it sais " comfort "
i got the currant registration with mine show that the frame number is only aprox: 1/2 of the serial number, my serial # is on a tag at the bottom of the door on the outside, the tag is a dept of transportation tag from the state of Idaho
that matches the registration. i look forward to seeing photos of yours, since buying mine iv'e gotton quite the bug about vintage trailers and enjoy collecting info on them. im hoping to find one from the 40's some day. if you can't post the photos i can give you my email, let me know

Hi guys!

I just came across a 1960 Terry trailer for $100 off craiglist. Most of the interior is stripped. Just a stove and sink left really. I have the pink slip. Just like the previous poster I can not find ANY information on this trailer. The previous owner did not have any other paper work or anything. I am clueless on where to start! Would love to know what this little gem is supposed to look like on the inside and how was the outside orginally painted??? Any help would be great!!

Hi, I have just purchased a 64 Terry that has been redone on the outside, but we are looking for original stickers for the outside and an original floor plan. If you have shared photos, I would be interested in seeing them. Our trailer is 12 feet overall and is in pretty good shape. We are redoing the floor and some of the cabinetry, but all in all, we are very happy with it. THe table can be inside or key in to an outside catch.
