Looking for my grandpa's old campers and truck toppers. Has anyone heard of "Mars Camper Co.?" He built them all by hand in the 60s and 70s. Wood frame construction mostly except for the truck cappers. The logo is black and white and gold and is shaped like a planet with a ring. Big "Mars" name in the middle. He and his company prabably produced less than 300 or maybe 400 products total. His shop was in Caledonia Michigan. Our family really would like to buy some of these. BIG money paid, like maybe 3 or 4 times the value or more.

No I have not found the value as yet. Is your sabre 17' foot and in what condition? Can't be a lot of these on the roads. Ron

I have recently purchased a small (about 15' overall) camper. the serial number on the tongue of the camper indicates a 1970 model. It has a triagular wndow in the door. On the tail end of the camper it is rounded over on the top and bottom as you commonly saw canned hams do, but the front is mor angular like you would have seen in the 70's. I thought it might be a mobile scout because it has the same door hardware (doesnt really mean alot I know) or perhaps a Lincraft or a Williams Craft. But i havent had any luck in verifying. Can anyone help? I can supply a picture if it would help.

I helped build the Semapore Caboose. I was an electrician, wiring 'em
up and installing appliance. Hoping someone has photos of one that they
can scan for me.

I'm looking for more information on a 1973 Semaphore Caboose Travel Trailer. What I have found so far is:
"The Semaphore Manufacturing Company in Williamsburg, Ohio, created approximately only 800 of these Train Caboose Campers. Very few are still in existence today.
It is made of aluminum and steel and weighs 4,800 lbs. The box is 20 feet long, with a 3 foot deck."
If anyone has more information on these campers, it would be appreciated.
