Hi! I HAVE a 1963 Norris Woodsman, with the Owner's Manual. I jacked the cabin up, pulled the trailer out. I brushed off the rust with a right angle grinder with a steel brush attachment, painted it, and rebuilt the floor. I then put the cabin back on the trailer. Now I'm almost finished replacing rotten wood, after peeling the skin off. I'm replacing everything that's rotten, but trying to keep it as original as possible. I still have the fridge, stove/oven, heater, and sink. I'm going to replace all the laminate in the kitchen, and will be installing real linoleum. I had to clean all the windows with a steel brush, BY HAND. I've had it for a year and it's almost dried in.

I have only found an old add for a similar one online. I also found a little info on the company that built it which has changed names several times over the years. It seems to be in pretty good shape except the electrical. It has old aluminum wiring, and only half the camper has power. My husband is trying to root out that problem. He thinks he will run new wire. I think that is the safest solution since a modern air conditioner has been installed.

We just bought a Red Dale Truck Camper today.8 1/2 Ft.They were made in Longmont,Co.At least 30 years ago.That`s all i know so far.We don`t know how old this one is.All the instructions for the fridge,stove & heater are included.Has beautiful wood inside.If you need copies of anything,let me know.We also have the propane light.Regards,Bob

Hi, I just bought a 1946 or 1947 Silver Dome (approx. 8ft. x 28ft.). Does anyone know much about Silver Domes from this period?

The trailer is a TOTAL wreck and I'm trying to find someone to work on it (needs pretty much the whole nine yards). Can anybody recommend someone or some business in the San Antonio/Austin area?
