That magnificent creature lived for 48 hours after the idiot dentist shot him with a cross bow? How about an eye for an eye?

12 of Cecil's cubs.
An OLD lion that would likely been killed by a rival male or hyenas had he not been living in an artificial environment.

Yes, and Mr. D*ckless lured him out of the safe environment. Then he tortured the animal. I guess you are some kind of sadistic masochist who thinks that is okay. Put that dentist out of his artificial environment in with a bunch of wild animals and no weapon. Let's see how he fares.

Man is part of the natural world. Should the lion be de-clawed and have his teeth pulled to even the playing field for the zebra? So why should man be deprived of using his brain which tells him to make use of a weapon. An all too common and absurd argument.

That question has no relevance to my statement. The poster offered a link but clearly did not read the entire contents.

Its not my cup of tea but neither is dictating my likes and values to others using the coercive power of a central authority.

what central authority are you referring to? how is it coercive? to whom? how did they have anything to do with this topic?

Raise your hands PETA members!!!! No?
I actually like lions and would never hunt one but I knew the anti-hunting, broccoli munchers would get their knickers in a bunch over this.

I suddenly feel like fox hunting for some reason. I love that velvety red fur.

I have no idea. However killing for reasons beyond what is needed to sustain life is common.
Killing the offspring of competitors and "practice" killings.

It seems to me that it's the religious nuts who most enjoy taking lives.
And you gotta love the euphemistic language used by that degenerate dentist. He enjoys watching living beings suffer, to say nothing of his patients. He speaks of "taking" the lion rather than killing it. I hope the bastard's dental career is over.

A typical leftist who had to bring religion into this. By "religious nuts" I suppose you mean every single religion throughout history where the adherents of faiths hunted? Or are you using this as another attack against Christianity?

Cheap shots galore and unsubstantiated ones. Your bigotry is showing Larry.
