that little child will be ruined for life because of some adults decision to let him drive. i mean really 7 years old?
how horrible for this child to think that he killed his mother when he really is not the one responsible.
i pray for him and his mother.
how sad.

It wasn't wreckless or improper for a city garbage truck driver to squash a man in his sleep in the middle of a public beach in broad daylight with a 19,000 pound truck. Just ask the commonwealth's attorney, he'll tell ya'.

Ok, if children grow up around boats, they can operate them as young as 7, but it wouldn't be recommended. How fast was the boat going? Didn't anyone notice the pier coming, when the child turned? Alcohol involved? Sad case, and poor kid will have to deal with it for a long time (if not forever).

Why charges, aren't they in enough pain already?

I would think family counseling would be more to the point.

Sadly we were there and watched the whole thing happen before our eyes. At this point I think as devastating as this accident was the focus should be on the remaining family. Your family is in our prayers and just know that we wish you the best.

For those of you who are so quick to judge-"Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing" Luke 23:34. Please take a moment to focus on the loss that these people are dealing with; they have lost their daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. Please find it in your hearts to have compassion and use your energy in a more positive way and pray for the family instead of pointing fingers. For those who want the truth, the young boy was not driving the boat, he was assisted by the owner and had permission from his mother. There was no malice, no harm intended, nevertheless a tragic accident that will not soon be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with those who were involved; may each of you find peace within your hearts and know this: "Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD." Jeremiah 1:8. God bless!
