She put a $7000 engagement ring in her mouth, how stupid is she? She deserved to have lost it.

$7,000.00 is not that much. When my wife and I got married 20+ years ago I spent about the same amount.

she should have left it at home or in the car; thats what i do when my husband and i go fishing and swimming, or any other activity that deals with being out on a lake. its a DUH! thing. they should have just left it on the bottom of the lake, cuz at least thats what they would have done if it was only 1,000 or less.

When Kobe Bryant was caught in his sex scandal, he spent 4 million on a ring for his wife. That was a lot cheaper than a divorce.

Note to guy marrying woman who lost ring: Don't do it!!! She clearly is a complete moron. Take the $750.00 fee to get the ring back as a loss but in the end you will come out way a head.

Give her a break!$7000.00 is not that much for a ring these days, especially if they saved for it ahead of time. Also, it might not be as deep a gouge in the bank account for them as it could be for others.

Plus, the article said she had only owned it for a short time. It's possible that it's the first expensive piece of jewelry she's ever possessed and has yet to learn how to best care for it. It does require some adjustment.

Accidents happen, people.

Why do women continually wear extremely expensive jewelry during times they should not? "I think I'll go waterskiing wearing my $7000 engagement ring....or camping, or working in the garden".

And to Nobama...."easy choice," you say? Shame on you.

I'm not bitter at all. The ring is suppose to be on your finger, not in your mouth. Even I am smarter than that. If you're going to spend that much money on just a ring, exercise a little bit more common sense. Enough said.

Nobama must be single and bitter toward women, and couldn't get a woman if he tried.

Ooh, a little sunscreen. As if it's indelible. It washes off! Not to mention that if you're going out in a boat, or swimming, leave the ring at home! Moron is lucky she didn't swallow it. It sure would have been dirty then, while waiting for it to pass. I'll choose the sunscreen any day.

I know. Why not make one out of duct tape? Just as good and being hand crafted makes it worth more :-).

If my wife lost a $7,000.00 ring, the divers wouldn't be looking for the ring.
