That's as dumb as no Sea Doo's being allowed on certain lakes. I don't know, but my Sea Doo title listed it as a class 1 boat.

Now I can see them banning "Hot dogging" but to ban all Sea doos. I even fished off my Sea Doo. As long as I'm not "hot dogging" what is the difference between my Sea Doo and any other boat?

Why don't they ban motorcycles on roadways?

Same difference.

They need to use their brains on closing this lake to all boating.

I finally found someone with the answers at the Okla City Council, I think her name is Sally... She said that they're replacing all 5 pumps (that are 50 yrs old) that pump water from lake Atoka to Draper, they expect the project to be finished by late 2010 or early 2011. She also said that they will take this time to update & maybe even add a couple new boat ramps. After the job is completed, whenever this may be, in her own words she said that it will take 2 years to refill the lake. So.... i'm looking for a good place to use our ski boat this summer.

Maybe the officials will finally clean up all the trash & other hazards to improve the area so residents can enjoy a safe area for recreation.

I never got why people catch fish @ Draper Lake, knowing their have been bodies & probably a whole shit load more bodies in the lake why is that?
Also need to kill someone hey come to Draper Lake we know how to hide the other bodies. They should redo everything about that lake sick a hell eating fish with the family just think how many bodies that fish was next to or nibbled on the bodies. Here is a big tip for OKC PD. Its called patrol do it by the lake i bet you'll catch someone get off your lazy ass's. Also maybe the city needs to go High tech & add some camera's in & around the location??? wonder if they ever thought of that probably have but they probably were too worried about the cost!!! & no people I am not ignorant just bringing a good question to light if you think im ignorant I am going to take a wild guess you ate the fish from there & i hurt your feelings..

This is kind of a dead topic, but I always fish there, but never in a million years would I eat any fish from that lake, I do it for sport.
Second, the lake DOES have a lot of shoreline, you cannot put a camera everywhere to cover everysquare mile of the lake.
Third, what do you expect the police department to do? Have a patrol around the lake 24/7? If you haven't seen it already, there is a big budget deficiet, can't really afford that right now, and even if they did, people would just find a new place to dump the bodies.
Hate to disagree with you but that comment was very ignorant, and again, I don't eat the fish.
