Hi,
I was at Davis Dam on Saturday, 8/18/2007 during the time (about 2pm) where there was some sort of water accident, where a woman (possibly in her late 40's) was pulled out of the water by some very heroic passerby's on a boat and proceeded to take her to the boat launch at Davis Dam. The woman was lying there, unresponsive, while some other brave souls, a man & a woman, began CPR. I called 911 at 2:06pm and the paramedics finally arrived at about 2:15pm. During this entire time the woman was unresponsive, and her “new friends”- although exhausted - continued administering CPR. She was taken away by ambulance. My heart aches for her and her family, her son and his girlfriend were off to the side watching all of the commotion, and - as to be expected - were visibly shaken. I can't help but wonder what happened to this poor woman. Did she make it? My mind tells me that she probably didn't, but my heart is hoping for a miracle happy ending. Does anyone know what happened to her? My thoughts are with her and her family.

Oh God. I am so sorry. It's such a tragedy to know that a day out in the river with family and friends can turn so tragic, so quickly. All I seen, as I sat in the river on my lounge chair, where the guys struggling as they pulled her out of the river, once on board I heard screaming (a girl) and the guys calling out to anyone on shore for help "Call 911!" "Does anyone know CPR?". Do you know what happened on the river? I heard that there had been an accident, possibly with a boat?

The last name was Haring. Did anyone see what actually happened at the time of the accident? Those of us who were involved and part of the family would like to know if there were any actual witnesses to clear up for us what occurred. I would appreciate any help with this. This is a very tragic thing for the family and friends who are going through this and we would just like some things cleared up. Thanks for any input.
