Bottom line this is a revenue generator for many to make money.
How did we come up with the age 26 ?, that seems a little extreme.

I am sorry but I do not think it is extreme. Personally I think everyone that operates a boat should have to take a course and pass a test. A boat can be just as dangerous as a car. Alot of people operating boats do not know the rules. Believe me, I lived at High Rock for 8 years and I have seen many over the age of 26 that should not have been allowed to operate a boat.

To drive a car, you have to pass a test on rules of the road, why shouldn't people be licensed to operate a boat? Water sports are a lot of fun, but you better know what you're doing out there. I say it's about time!
