I appreciate the thought. Please don't complain to anyone. I am confident we will get back on the air. Angering the competition can slow down the process and lower the odds of us getting a new dial position. The truth of the situation is KKLC played by the rules. Once again I do appreciate your passion for our station.

Dear KLOVE (KKLC 107.9)

I live just two blocks away from Red Bluff Union High School's KRBH 107.7 but ever since you've boosted your power output I can no longer hear KRBH even at 2 blocks away!

I don't feel it's right for your station to intentionally destroy the listening audience of a high school station even if the FCC gives you the right to do so.

This is not what I call 'positive, encouraging' behavior.

Don't complain? Are you kidding?
Brad, it's we the listeners, parents, supporters and RBHUS alumni who are concerned. Back in the 60's and 70's we dreamed of having a working high school radio station. KRBH represents not only Red Bluff High but also our community. How can a christian radio station that claims to be positive and encouraging endorse an action which takes literally KRBH off the air?
K-LOVE, my support check won't be in the mail this year.

I really don't want to write a public essay on why complaining to KKLC or the FCC is bad for KRBH. You just need to trust me on this one. If you are passionate about this topic or just want to understand the system, e-mail me at bwagner@rbuhsd.k12.ca.us and we'll arrange a time to TALK RADIO. I will check that e-mail on Monday. Thanks for Caring.

Mr Wagner,

If you didn't wish to illicit a public outcry then maybe you shouldn't have allowed the Daily News to publish the story with the dramatic headline, "Spartan Radio DROWNED OUT by Fall River" Eh?

KKLC obviously knew the effects of increasing power levels but apparently didn't feel it was necessary to notify the public regarding the possible interference it would cause to KRBH listeners and supporters. And this from a station which claims to have a positive and encouraging format? Get real!
