I wonder what part of the Colorado River this accidet happened on? I go to the Parker Dam area a lot. But the Colorado River goes for hundreds of miles. I wish they had at least listed what area of the river it was.

The collision occured about 1 mile north of Havasu on the river at the buoy line that says "no skiing or camping next 17 miles" The accident/recovery scene was on California side between Catfish and Clear bay. The body was offloaded at Havasu Landing about 8:30 PM. We have a crib in the Landing, saw the scene during the day and were loading our toys onto trailers on the ramp when the Coroner took the body bag to his van. It was a complete bummer and we all were very affected by this tragic event. We pray for the family and friends of David and the other injured and affected

those rivers and lakes are too dang over crowded with party go-ers and boats! They need to start limited the amount of water craft that goes into the water!

I have grown up on the colorado river and in my opinion the biggest problem out there is the hundred mile an hour 40 footers that are just racing to the next bar and always trying to impress.the 20/25 foot boats cant even operate on havasu or topoc for fear of getting killed. These are off shore boats , so please do just that go race off shore. they have bars in catalina too!
