Boating DUI fatal trial postponed

Patriotism WOODSTOCK – A trial for a 55-year-old boat safety instructor accused of driving drunk in a fatal boat accident was rescheduled because the defendant's mother died Sunday.

"Meanwhile, McGuire’s attorney, Tom Loizzo, has claimed that McGuire’s blood-alcohol content did not cause the accident.

Loizzo has claimed that lights were not illuminated on the boat Jurgens was in – a claim that others have disputed."

If that is true, then the other boat driver should be tried for negligent homicide as well.
