One's first inclination is to say...wow, what a nice thing to do.

However, looking past the "generosity" of DQ, one has to ask how many parents are forced to then take their entire family into the stores and spend ten times the amount of the certificate, then pay dental bills for the cavities, and try to fight the obesity that results from the munchkins getting hooked on the sugar & fat substance that they call ice cream.

Sounds like another Republi-thug gimmick to make us all over pay and then suffer the consequences of falling into their marketing trap.

IrishMN, I tend to see your point most of the times on this forum. But this is getting a little imaginative!

DQ is only trying to promote children wearing their live vests. Anything that results from that is only the fault of the guardian of the children.

I'd say if you are against children wearing life jackets you are clearly also in with the progressives trying to reduce the world population.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
