Unfortunally Arturo died today in this accident. He was born in Mexico and attended Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, he was part of the Spanish Ministry, Comunidad de las Americas.
He was a talented young man, he painted the window of our store front, you are welcome to visit Sir Jax Bakery in Temple City.
We don't have the details yet of the funeral services, but we are certainly going to miss this man that was constantly smiling and willing to serve in any way he could.

I was hiking in Eaton Canyon when this incident happened. I saw all the fire trucks, paramedics, etc. When I asked one of them what was going on, he said that a hiker had fallen. I got the sense from the way he told me that it was very serious.
I will pray for Arturo and his family.
