<quoted text>You can google this:
"Would you like to see Sharia law introduced for Muslims in Ireland?
I believe 100 per cent that Sharia law should be introduced for Muslims in Ireland. We must follow Sharia law, but there needs to be some compromises to adjust to modern life. Freedom has to be limited to prevent against insulting other peoples’ beliefs. Europeans need to show more respect. "
You're watching the wrong immigration issue.
Don't bet the farm that this will happen.
The Ontario gov't proposed introducing Sharia law...till the people had their say!

I take this issue VERY SERIOUSLY!!! I'm sorry you do not.
My letter I sent to 20 Senators yesterday
http://www.congress.org/congressorg/bio/userl...
What in my post made you think I don't take this issue seriously?
I believe this issue, if left unresolved, is a very great danger.
Your gov't seems unwilling to do anything, just the opposite, by their inaction, it would appear that they sanction the unrelenting flow of illegals into the US.
Its about more than jobs, its also a grave security threat.
That said, I don't think it advances the cause to stereotype illegal residents.

<quoted text>Generally, we are on the same page. I kind of like the way we get so much good added to our society from other cultures, such as food, music, art, architecture, dance, literature and such, but somehow we keep our basic American core. We have become over-accommodating in the last 20 years and need to be very careful not to lose our culture, yes.
Yes, yes, food, music, art, architecture, dance, literature and such,

but not law.

Check out alipac.com .

Legislation is being enacted, enforcement is happening, people are becoming more and more aware.

Mostly, from what I see, on a local and state level.

Agreed, in spades, given our current law came from English Common Law, then the Constitution. Sharia has no place here, none, zero, zilch, or as the say in some places, nunca.

Afghanisan is not Iraq. Too much to say and explain, but it was your president Bush who made the mistake of Iraq when the terrorists/real cause is in Afghanistan. I'm certainly not slamming US soldiers in Iraq!....they are doing their duty and bravely so!
They are defending your freedom in Afghanistan. No one ever did a damn thing about the taliban, al-qada or Osama in Afghanistan before 9/11 and now things, hard and diffiult at times, are changing for the better there slowly.
I praise the mission in Afghanistan, at least the part of shooting some terrorists/taliban.
God Bless the American soldiers and God Bless Canada's!
Thank you and thanks to your great country!

Iseriously think that Bin Laden is working for USA
9-11 allowed Bush to take it out on an unpopular Islamic leader - Saddam. Still ain't got Bin Laden. Wait a minute, all of those 9-11 guys were Saudis, our pals. What will be Bush's legacy? The economy - uh, no. World peace - uh, no. Handling a national natural disaster like Katrina - Hell, no.

I was happy 2 days ago to learn that at the recent NATO summit France finally stepped up to the plate. France decided to send 700 more troops to help out.
But then I realized something. France is sending it's troops to eastern Afghanistan not the sounthern violent Kandahar area where Canada is located. Canada has extended it's mission for 2 more years so long as the rest of NATOpitches in more and gives us more support in that violent area.
But no, no, no...France and the rest of the "tough"(ha ha) european NATO allies refuse to help in the more violent areas.
Canada is getting some extra suport from US forces who can re-locate to the Kandahar area since France will replace the US forces in their area.
As since the beginning of the Afghan mission...it is Canada, the US and the UK doing all the "heavy" work.
Europe, our NATO allies, are full of girly men sissies. Or are they afraid of the backlash from all those islamo immigrants? Bunch of wimps!
Actually I just came from Eastern Afghanistan, Kunar Province, considered the most dangerous place on earth, in OEF 8. All of the heaviest and brutal fighting in Afghanistan came from the East, I served in Southern Afghanistan also, OEF 6, it is open desert and mountains and an easier fight due to the vastness, the East is mountainous with thick forests. The fight in the East is by far the hardest fight I've seen, I have experience in Iraq also.
