Save yourself some more money and dump Megan Meany. I'd rather have no traffic at all. She doesn't fit and I think some day Darlene is going to punch her out on air.
LOL. Yeah, there's definitely something about Megan. This morning she got annoyed because Michael Gargiulo touched her notes. Then she touched his notes.(Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah hhh!) It was so kindergarten. No offense to kindergartners.

Otis did sports yesterday! Since I didn't expect to see him, I almost missed the segment. It was pre-recorded (like when Len Berman does it). What's up with that?

I really miss Rob and recently realized Otis is missing too. What's going on? I used to wake up just to join them in the morning. My husband defected to Channel 2 a while ago. I've been hanging on -- by a shoestring. Don't you think you viewers and these professionals deserve better than dissappearing? If you want to be seen as the "NBC Family" you'd better start treating your "family" better.

Mornings are just not the same anymore. Are Rob and Otis anywhere to be found in the mornings? Please Darlene and Chris -- don't go anywhere, I don't want to have to leave NBC.

I am getting tired of seeing this traffic reporter in the early AM news-when will NBC realize we don't need her sugary updates on traffi? I preferred seeing Otis doing sports and I am very unhappy about how this station is handling his non-appearances!

I've switched to CBS also. It took some time but I've adjusted. The wacky weatherman is beginning to grow on me. It seems that Darlene is spending a lot of time doing the evening news. I get the feeling she'll be transitioning there and Erica will be replacing her. NBC executives had a good thing and didn't know it. All the best to Rob and Otis. They may be better off as NBC is a sinking ship.

It's unfortunate that I had to go on the internet to find out what happened with Rob first and then Otis. I enjoyed them both; they have great personalities and chemistry with the others. I too have been watching since the days of Maurice and over the last few months, have not been enjoying the mornings nearly as much. Not sure what NBC exec's are doing, but maybe you should take a viewer pole before letting people go. We are your "customers" and recently your service leaves alot to be desired.

NBC is laying off so they don't have to over pay high salary's for their broadcasting. They want employees to work for cheap. Just like every other company.

Did I hear that Darlene is gone too now? I haven't seen the news in a few days. Did I miss something?

I never really got over the Jane/Maurice shuffle, but finally adapted to Rob and Darlene...Darlene was out a lot (I'm guessing due to her husband's woes) and now the new people whose names I don't even know. I miss Otis, he was friendly and pleasant and seemed to know his stuff. I've tried CBS, but I'm with those who think that weatherman is crazy...

I used to feel smug about NY's local news being so much better than the local stations anywhere else, but now they've lowered their standards to match many of the smaller markets. Boo. Hiss.

I agree with the above. NBC is not the same without Otis and Rob. I used to look forward to the alarm going off and turning on the news to Darlene, Rob, Chris and Otis. They worked really well together. Like the others I will be switching stations as well.
I also agree. The morning is not the same without Rob and Otis. The foursome of Darlene, Rob, Otis and Chris were the best. Bye NBC.

Ch 4 5-7 is not the same without Otis. I had to go online to see what has happened to him. I guess soon we will be saying goodbye to Darlene, as she has been showing up on later broadcasts. Being groomed for the pm?? I watch because I like Chris. I might have to switch to Ch 2 and go back to Maurice!!

I just realized that Rob and Otis was missing from channel 4. I wish they would send Magen Meany back where she came from. I cannot stand her squeeky voice.

[I agree with the viewers? Nothing is being said where Otis Livingston is. I make sure that I am up before 5am so that I can see the "foursome" --- I sure do miss Otis sitting in that chair with Chris, Darlene & Michael. NBC - let's be truthful to your viewers -- Where In The World is OTIS LIVINGSTON !!!

I have been a morning viewer since the days of Jane Hansen/Matt Lauer. I really enjoy watching at 5 am before commuting and my 13 hour work day. I enjoyed Darlene, Rob, Chris and Otis now Rob is gone and no Otis. Where is has he gone? My kids loved him too. Who's next to go. I also have been switching to CBS to catch an old favorite Maurice. What is the purpose of making these changes if it is making the viewers unhappy and changing to another news program? I know there is always two sides to the story, but we miss our morning new's friends.

I have been a morning viewer since Jane Hansen and Mary Civillo. I've always liked the morning teams. My daughter grew up watching channel 4 news. I am very disappointed in the way they are treating their employees and their loyal viewers. The recent disappearance of Rob Morrison and Otis Livingston is almost becoming the last straw. I'm fearful that the rest of the morning crew is going to disappear soon and than I am going to be finished with channel 4 news forever. I only continue to watch out of loyalty to Darlene Rodriguez and Chris Cimino. If they disappear from the AM news - bye, bye NBC news forever.

I agree with all the other comments. The fab four were great together. Mike Garguilo's face is not easy on the eyes like Rob's and he is definitely not as charming. It is obvious that there is no chemistry between Darlene and Mike. I like many others have switched to Channel 2. Like the saying goes "You get what you pay for"
