NHL notebook: Canucks standing by Luongo | BlueJacketsXtra

Full story: BlueJacketsXtra

Although Roberto Luongo is receiving much of the blame for Vancouver's two-game meltdown in Boston during the Stanley Cup Finals, the Canucks refuse to allow their goaltender to take the heat alone.

37 games and Reimer gets $5.4 million for three years? Crazy, pure craziness; it reminds me of the Blue Jackets thinking Steve Mason was a franchise goalie based on 10 shutouts in his rookie season-he's now another goalie Calder flop.

So the Bruins pass around a jacket to whoever they feel is the game's MVP...and people made fun of Noel's hard hat. Whatever motivates the players, no matter how silly or stupid is a good thing.

How stupid would a coach have to be to not pull a goalie who gives up four goals in a period of hockey?(Stanley Cup Final, Game 3) The Canucks do not have a playoff coach nor a playoff goalie. They should both be replaced...unless you're okay with second place, then great season.

No way the Canucks win a Stanley Cup with this coach and this goalie.
