Olympic Sponsors Coca-Cola under pressure to condemn Russia's anti-LGBT laws
Russia's crackdown on the LGBT community and the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi have rightly been all over the headlines in recent months: Now, gay rights group All Out has launched a petition urging one of the Games' most prominent sponsors, Coca-Cola, to publicly speak out against the country's anti-gay laws.

Stop making nonsense!
I wonder if LGBT activists believe they can do something by annoying Russians and everyone else with their crazy ideas like boycotting the games and vodka and now demanding from one of the biggest international companies to criticize Russia's anti-gay law. So what now, will they boycott Coca-Cola? Don't they understand that their demands are useless and ineffective? Do they believe Coca-Cola will sacrifice its reputation and revenue to satisfy vagaries of LGBT activists who don't bother themselves to read the Russian law and see that its main idea is to prevent propaganda of same-sex relations? Media and LGBT activists never speak about that and still they blacken the Olympics so it means they misinform millions of people. So how they want to improve the situation with rights of gay people in Russia especially after gay athletes, the IOC and every person got from Russian government security blanket for gays? Of course everyone makes his own decisions. If you want to boycott the Olympics and vodka, well, good luck. But I will come to the games and I will support gay athletes there because their victories and our presence at the Olympics will contribute much more to cause of the LGBT community than anything else.
