Brazil, home of the 2016 Olympics. When was the last time a third world nation hosted the Olympics?

I guess it's better to point out the total lack of usable infrastructure now. 3 years is not alot of time to bring a third country into participation with first world. Or is that goal, set up Brazil so corporate America can sell their wares there.
