I too see that there's no chemistry between Mike and Darlene. I was hooked on the FAB-FOUR (Rob, Otis, Darlene, Chris). I never liked channel 2 or 7 news. The Fab Four worked off each other!
Looks like Darlene is gearing up for late night! Once she goes, I'm gone!

Ok, did anyone see Otis on Channel 4 today, April 26th? I thought I had Channel 2 on,but I didn't. About 11 AM ish...Anyone know anything about that? He was doing a report and it has something to do with the internet... I didn't hear enough and was confused. LOL Was I crazy?

megan meany is sooooooo hot! every 4 minutes is not enough time on the camera. she is worth watching the news in the morning. and darlene is just as hot! keep this group together! no need to go anywhere else to get the news and a look at some hot women

What is with you people? Sounds like you are allergic to change? Just because your old favorites are gone doesn't mean you have to nitpick the newbies. Where are your manners?
Get over yourselves. Television is in a state of constant flux, driven by reduced ad budgets and competition from new media.... Turn to any station and you will see what you are seeing on NBC, new personalities, experimentation with news and delivery formats, change. Maybe you can start a petition to get Walter Cronkite, Roger Mudd and Otis and company back on the air. I bet you could do it. You seem to have some time on your hands judging by all your complaining here.

I just saw Otis on CBS this weekend. It was like Rob all over again. They definitely don't know what they are doing at NBC. And instead of having Chris do the weather when Al Roker isn't around they have been pulling in other weathermen. They don't realize how loyal their viewers are to the teams. They need to give air time to the early team when the Today Show needs a seat filled temporarily.

I've been an NBC news fan forever - but I think they've finally lost it! WHY would you ever take Sue and Chuck off the air at 5?? EVERYONE wants to hear the news at this time not that mindless show LX New York!!! P-L-E-A-S-E!!!
The Today in New York team in the mornings is great. They seem to work so well as a team. Michael and Darlene are perfect, and Erica is a super fill-in.
It goes without saying how much of a professional Chris is doing the weather. The only latest flaw is Megan Meany. Seems like all the men like the "eye
candy" but unfortunately the majority of viewers want to hear about the morning traffic!!! She's always very vague about exactly where the traffic tie-ups are, unlike the others before her and her fill-ins when she's not there. She seems very uncomfortable on camera and doesn't fit in with the others. Who decided to put her on TV - she's very inexperienced!! Viewers are going to other networks in droves!

I used to watch channel 2 news but there team seems real uptight together.The biggest thing that drove me away was the 'Good Morning" quote. These news shows are repetitious enough without hearing each newscaster saying good morning to each other and the viewer. UHGGGGG.
I pretty much watch Channel 4 but Megan Meanys voice with its highs drives me a little nuts
