Where is Otis Livingston? We have not seen him nor heard his name mentioned for 2 weeks. Has he gotten the Rob Morrison treatment?

I miss Otis. I haven't heard any mention of his whereabouts, no "sitting in for the vacationing Otis Livingston", nothing.

Chris, Darlene, Rob, Otis and Trish. I really enjoyed this group in the mornings.

Yes, where is Otis? He brings a great smile and has a wonderful personality. To perri6, both Rob and Trish have been gone for awhile. Bring back Otis!!!!

I remember when Trish left. As for Rob, he was "on vacation" for a while, then he just wasn't there anymore.
I saw a sports segment a couple of days ago in which the sportscastor who was filling in mentioned that Otis was interviewing some players in the locker room, but I didn't see him on camera. Odd.

They will probably give him the Rob Morrison treatment like Perri6 said. I hope he lands on his feet on-air elsewhere....truly enjoyed him as part of my morning routine.

I just e-mailed Otis Livingston and he emailed me back, that the higher no longer think local sports is important. He still works for the station reporting on various shows and fill in anchoring. He seems very frustrated as he doesn't know where he will turn up on a regular basis. I resent that NBC doesn't let their faithful viewers know what is going on. Even though I like Darlene and Chris, I'm done with NBC.

NBC news ruined my morning watching habit. First Rob replaced by Michael (nice guy, but no Rob)! Then they actually overdosed me on sugar with the Erika / Michael double marshmellow duo. NOW I realize they have NO intention of putting Otis back on the morning news. Instead we are confronted with Megan Meany (appropriately named). Her desire for acceptance, coupled with the Sweet Anchors have put me in a diabetic coma.

I have moved to CBS because I still love Maurice and have begun to relate to Kate. Their weather person is the only person I would replace - Chris - You have an opportunity to jump ship before they move more deck chairs - Please take it. I really enjoy you.

Mr. Zucker - You really S_CK. I only wish I could make as many mistakes as you do and make 1/2 the package you do.

sue carita, you're right! NBC has certainly ruined my morning watching habit also. How do you just take people off like that without any kind of farewell or anything? What is NBC trying to do? I've been watching NBC in the morning from 5-7 since the days when Maurice was on. I'm getting more and more unhappy. Chris, Darlene and Otis were a great team. the team has broken up and I may just have to move away from nbc!!!

Now, I have had it! Remember the extended goodbye for Trish Yodice? Very nice, but that was the end of the nice goodbyes. Trish should be thrilled she is out of there and into a good career. Yes, Chris, save your career....you are next. They will probably train Erika to do your job too. I miss Darlene, Rob, Chris and Otis. Best of luck to all.

I agree with the above. NBC is not the same without Otis and Rob. I used to look forward to the alarm going off and turning on the news to Darlene, Rob, Chris and Otis. They worked really well together. Like the others I will be switching stations as well.

Ha! I thought it was just me. I thought maybe I was being too hard on Megan. sue carita, I've been thinking the exact same things about her. And how many times does she have to refer to activity on the roads as "drama"?

I still adore Darlene (not crazy about the hair lightening, though) and Chris (glad he updated his hairstyle). And I think Cat Greenleaf is pretty cool.

Before he went missing, I did notice that he'd been covering non-sports issues. He's got a great personality. He'd be a good catch elsewhere. NBC shouldn't leave him in limbo.

btw, I haven't seen general assignment reporters Reg Chapman or Adam Shapiro in ages. I had missed Vivian Lee as well, but this weekend I saw her at the desk on NY1.

I clicked on to NBC for a minute this morning and I noticed Chris wasn't there. Did they say where he is. Perri6, where did you see Otis covering non sports issues? I have switched to CBS for now but can not enjoy the news from 5-7 like I use to. I think they made a huge mistake taking Rob and Otis off and putting in Michael and I won't even say what I thing of Megan.

Peggy Deck, Otis would be sitting in his usual seat while covering general interest stuff; gosh, I can't remember what, exactly. But, I remember not quite understanding what it was all about. He was still doing the sports report, but then he'd cover other topics.

I actually watched a little Ch. 11 News this morning.

Otis, where are you? What a wonderful personality. There have been too many changes on this morning show. Personalities click, viewers are eager to turn on their tvs,and then comes the big change. It seems that the good ones go elsewhere.I'm looking forward to hearing from Otis again. NBC, please wise up!

Otis was such a joy in the morning! He actually made me pay attention to what was happening in the sports world! I hope he finds a much better situation for his personal growth! Len Berman's drop ins are awful. He appears annoyed and resentful that he's having to recap the previous night's scores. Not typical for him.
Like any business when you don't take care of your customers they walk. Chris and Darlene are the only reasons to stay with NBC but if they mess with them I'm gone too!!!!!

I'm done. Ch 4 really screwed up a good thing by ousting Rob M and now Otis?!?! Come on!!!! Save yourself some more money and dump Megan Meany. I'd rather have no traffic at all. She doesn't fit and I think some day Darlene is going to punch her out on air. I still have fond hopes that Rob and Otis will show up elsewhere (together) and that Darlene and Chris will join them. In the meantime, I've defected to Ch 7, and lately, I've been staying there with Sawyer and Roberts.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Taurus

It's important that you leave yourself plenty of room to manouvres during the weeks ahead, as Mercury turns retro today, especially when it comes to making decisions and airing your opinions to the world. You need to be as flexible as possible right now, otherwise you could find that you've boxed yourself into a corner and have to do some serious back-tracking. You need to consider all points of view and not just your own.
