Sniper wrote: Guys, I was the one in the LA Times article who tried to warn the media and olympics authorities back in February. The company behind beijingticketing.com is the same one behind xclusiveticket.com and the theonlineticketshop.com and othe fraudulent ticket sites. They were behind the 2006 World Cup ticket fraud and behind Led Zeppelin ticket fraud in 2007, if you google xclusive ticket or XL&H or other variations, you'll see that they've pulled these kind of scams for a long time, yet nobody has done anything about it. I already complained about them to the UK investigations office as well, and they've done nothing. What will happen is that these guys will pack up and dissapear and re-appear a year later for some other hot event, maybe tickets to the Dalai Lama's lecture, the 2010 Winter Olympics, etc, and scam people again. We should not let this happen, if you want to shut these guys down, you need to go for the source: Terrence Shepard, google this name and you will find out he is the master fraud artist and he has your money right now in his bank account. The authorities and consumers need to go after this guy, break him and put him in jail, that's the only way. Yes he got me too £22,000! plus I had to buy all the tickets again another £25k, I do have the police onto it though they have asked me to make a statement regarding the fraud

Julie UK wrote: I think I may have been a victim with XL&H but buying V Festival tickets. I had even spoken to someone at the London office a couple of weeks ago, who said tickets would be out early August and received an email saying being sent from 7th August, however my friend also bought tickets from them and received an email 2 days ago saying they couldn't supply tickets as their supplier had let them down and believed they had gone into voluntary liquidation. Funnily enough neither of us have had replies to our emails and now cannot get through on telephone. My credit card company are going to look into to but so disappointed. Please post if anyone has had this problem. I have just spent the last 4 hours of today, firstly trying to chace up my V tickets then looking at bad press about XL&H. The phone number for them I have from my credit card invoice is never answered and all phone numbers from the website have misteriously vanished!! I have been on to the international directory to try and get a phone number for the US adress on the website but it does not seem to exist. It's not looking good. I am desperately hoping I can claim the cash back as I paid on a credit card but when I spoke to them they did not have all the answers...I feel a long laborious few months ahead of me. If the company has gone into liquidation then I think it is fairly straight forward. If they have not (XL&H have not) then there is a time limit from the date the transaction was made of 2 months to make a claim. If the terms and conditions of XL&H are that the ticket's (goods) will not be delivered until 1 week before the event though, then surely the time limit cannot stand. i have taken the precaution of printing off a load of stuff from the XL&H website ie. terms and conditions and event dates incase the credit card company requires the info and the website no longer exists by the time the claim goes through. I'm rappidly loosing all faith in purchacing on the internet. About a month ago I also had problems with Thompsonfly and ended up with 16 seats on a plane instead of 4 even though the site told me not a single one of the transactions I made had gone through. I have only just resolved this problem...and now this.... It's a discrace!!

The whole thing is a disgrace! I have been told by my credit card company that a refund will be issued either if the card was used but nit by me, or if I did use the card but did not receive the service I paid for, in this case receiving tickets, which I explained to him and he said it would get refunded (I certainly hope it happens - I've now bought more tickets off ebay on this basis!), he never mentioned a time limit to claim, I agree with your point though about the terms and conditions, it's a good idea what you did, I didn't think of that and now the site is gone! I was told though that it takes about 1-2 months to be investigated etc.

Official Tickets.net ........ These Ticket agencies maybe all the same. We ordered also 2 Tickets for Premier Leaugue in Liverpool. As we entered the stadium we saw that our seats were already occupied. Fact was that we had faked tickets. The tickts had the same numbers and the ticket office at the stadium confirmed that our tickets are wrong! Do not order any tickets on the internet. You better go to a local travel agency in your hometown!
